Potter Center.  The LGBTQI Life Fund supports programming and educational opportunities for LGBTQIA+ students to build leadership and professional skills.  Much of this fund goes toward sponsoring students travel and registration for LGBTQIA+ conferences, and securing speakers and workshops to develop professional skills and promote LGBTQIA+ inclusion in higher education.  

One specific need is our Building Enhancement Fund.

Building Enhancement Fund:
The Building Enhancement Fund supports renovation projects that will make the K.C. Potter Center accessible to everyone.  Our historic home remains a much-needed resource for our Nashville and Vanderbilt communities, but is unable to serve many of our community with disabilities due to inadequate access.  Currently, our renovation project includes adding an elevator so students, faculty, and staff can access the upper floor of our center for counseling and affinity group meetings, and updating our wheelchair ramp with materials that replace aging wood and support long-term and cost-effective stability.  To learn more about these projects contact lgbtqi@vanderbilt.edu.
